Galaxy Y -Simple Trick to Enable 3G or WCDMA mode only

Its very difficult to activate 3g only mode in galaxy y or similar android 2.3 Version mobiles as there is no direct option for enabling or disabling HSDPA or 3g .
This tutorial helps you,how to change to WCDMA or 3G mode in galaxy y.

It just follow three simple steps.

First step
Using your phones dial pad dial *#*#4636#*#*
A window will appear like as follows

Second step

Click on phone information bar,at the top.This will show some techie information about your android phone

Third step
Move down,Here you can see  a option of preferred network type.
From there select the option of WCDMA only inorder to change the network type to 3G mode

Now Easily connect through 3g Enabled network
